Her research area ranges from hormone interaction, nutrient metabolism, stress repsonse and protein-protein interaction in model plants and conifers. During her Ph.D. study in UK, her research focused on interaction between a component of the jasmonate receptor complex, COI1, and the ethylene pathway in Arabidopsis. During her postdoc period in Canada, she mainly studied annual nitrogen cycling and stress response in conifers. She is currently working at Shin Lab in RIKEN, focuing on interaction of 14-3-3 proteins with light-related proteins and potassium signalling.
